Service Description

The Gozalandia Waterfall in San Sebastián has become one of the most visited natural treasures in Puerto Rico, it is also known as Charca El Roble or Charco de la Leche. The pond has impressive waterfalls (see photos) that, due to their natural beauty, became the setting for the movie “A Perfect Gateway” in 2009; Here you can see the short of the film where Gozalandia appears. If you are going to visit the waterfalls and you are not from the town of San Sebastián, it is important that you analyze the map well so that you arrive without problems, because the path is not marked and its location is a bit difficult. The most recommended thing is that you carry a GPS with the coordinates that we provide on the back. Parking costs $5 + ivu = $5.35. Once you park you will have to walk about 5 minutes and go down a fairly steep staircase to reach the river. This can present a challenge for people who are not in good physical condition. Once in the river you can take a dip in its large pool, jump into the water from one of its stones, enjoy a small underwater cave that is located on the right side of the waterfalls or simply enjoy a day of adventure in the river while watching as daring young people jump from the heights into the water (not suitable for the faint of heart). Remember to bring bags so you can dispose of the garbage, as there are no trash cans. It is important that you take the necessary measures for your safety and that on rainy days you avoid visiting these waterfalls, which can become a dangerous place. For others transfer, inside or outside the Metropolitan Área of San Juan or Carolina. You must make inquiry.l
